The top of the funnel coverage at zdnet.com continues to respond to interest about popularity. As is often the case at this stage of the lifecycle, customers are looking for others to have validated what’s great and what’s good enough to consider.
That insight is emphasized in the heatmap above, with a large volume of interest going to zdnet.com, anchored squarely on the popularity need.
What struck us were the outliers on this chart comparing price and volume. Chatgpt has a lot of the volume, and ai, as a concept, is just out there, associated with very high prices. It’s indicative of strong demand. Granted, this is just a sample of ten words, however, those two words are not where we’d expect them to be.
